Join us for an immersive training that brings Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to life through psychodrama. Blending the therapeutic power of psychodrama with the mindfulness-based approach of ACT, this training aims to provide a safer and expressive space for individuals to delve into their inner narratives, confront barriers to psychological flexibility, and ultimately, commit to meaningful actions that align with their values.
For clinicians already using ACT, this training offers the chance to deepen your skills and enhance your therapeutic impact. Learn new techniques to navigate ACT with greater insight and effectiveness, benefiting both you and your clients.
Kate will provide personalized feedback and guidance throughout the training. With expertise in psychodrama and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), she aims to help participants deepen their understanding and practical skills. Kate completed the ACT Practice & Consultation Fellowship at the University of Chicago Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice, solidifying her expertise. Attendees will explore scenarios, practicing psychodramatic techniques while integrating ACT principles for improved therapeutic outcomes.
Previous training in psychodrama and/or acting is NOT required. These sessions are for anyone from the first time participant to individuals with advanced training in psychodrama.
