Mallory Primm PsyD, PAT
Mallory Primm, PhD, PAT (she/her) is a certified psychodramatist and faculty at the Chicago Center for Psychodrama and offers trainings and workshops to hospitals, schools, and mental health practices throughout the Chicagoland area. Dr. Primm has been incorporating psychodrama into her group and individual work for the last 7 years. She currently co-facilitates a psychodrama group and personal growth workshops at the Chicago Center for Growth and Change, a group therapy practice in Chicago, where she is a post-doctoral fellow.
Dr. Primm specializes in treating adults facing challenges with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, social anxiety, relationship challenges, and prenatal/postpartum mental health issues. Dr. Primm also works with children, adolescents, and their families. Her areas of specialty with this population include school and behavioral concerns, self-harm, exposure to trauma, and adjustment concerns. She is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy for social anxiety.
Dr. Primm has several years of experience treating children (3 +), adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds. Dr. Primm has worked and trained in various settings, including a pediatric psychiatric hospital, schools, community mental health centers, a youth crisis center, and at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center’s (AIMMC) Behavioral Health Services (outpatient and obstetrics and gynecology clinics).
