In this training, we familiarize newcomers with the fundamentals of sociometry and psychodrama. For those already acquainted with these methods, this training will enhance your understanding by delving deeper into the theories and techniques pioneered by Dr. J.L. Moreno.

Participants will advance their knowledge and professional skills in facilitating groups through sociometry, the measurement and analysis of dynamics within groups. Then participants will be introduced to the three phases of a psychodrama group (i.e., warm up, action, and sharing). Together, psychodrama and sociometry form a dynamic therapeutic duo, offering unique opportunities for deeper relationships with self and others. Throughout the training day, participants will also learn about the history and evolution of psychodrama, sociometry, and group therapy.

Previous training in psychodrama is not required. These sessions are for anyone from the first time participant to individuals with advanced training in psychodrama. A lunch break will be provided, and complimentary snacks and beverages will be available throughout the training.
