Our Open Demonstrations of Psychodrama & Sociometry provide an introduction to action methods, ideal for those new to psychodrama or curious about its impact. By attending you’ll experience psychodrama firsthand, gaining insights into emotions, behaviors, and relationships.
Psychodramatic enactments may involve various techniques, including role-training, empty chair, and doubling, to enhance the exploration of emotions and relationships. Participants often engage in role reversals to gain fresh perspectives. During the psychodrama demonstration, the director(s) skillfully guide the process of the warm-up, action, and sharing, offering valuable insights for self-awareness.

Previous training in psychodrama and/or acting is NOT required. These sessions are for anyone from the first time participant to individuals with advanced training in psychodrama.
Who Should Attend
The Open Demo is ideal for mental health professionals, educators, social workers, coaches, lawyers, nurses, physicians, and allied health professionals, managers, team leaders, and HR professionals and anyone interested in incorporating psychodramatic methods into their work. No prior experience is necessary—just a willingness to learn and participate.

Psychodrama Training Hours
This event offers 2 psychodrama training hours for students who are working toward the American Board of Examiners (ABE) certification in Psychodrama, Sociometry, and Group Psychotherapy. These hours are valid indefinitely. This event does not offer CEs.
